Abstract

The teaching of foreign languages plays a fundamental role in the contemporary world. The use of information and communications technology has a great impact on the learning of English in universities. Based on this theoretical framework, It reflect on the use of digital resources in the postgraduate programs of Municipal University Branch Baraguá, Republic of Cuba. At the same time, it focuses on the preparation of teachers in order to facilitate the teaching-learning of the English language by addressing various methods of research, such as analytical-synthetic, historical-logical and systemic-structural. Observation, interview, questionnaire and quantitative analysis were used for the empirical study. This research work demonstrated the need for effective preparation actions for teachers to develop skills in the use of multimedia resources, contributing to graduate students in English language demonstrate their progress, achievements and new learning goals in foreign languages.
